Why I Expanded Embrace Flare Boutique to All Sizes

Why I Expanded Embrace Flare Boutique to All Sizes

When I first started Embrace Flare Boutique, it was built with a very clear mission: to create a space where plus-size women could shop confidently, comfortably, and without compromise. That mission still means everything to me. It always will.

But as my boutique grew, so did my perspective.

Behind the scenes, I’ve always been deeply selective about what I offer. Every piece I bring in has to meet a standard—comfort, quality, fit, and that feeling you get when something just works for your body and your life. Over time, I found myself facing a challenge: sourcing consistently high-quality pieces only within a limited size range was becoming harder, and it didn’t align with the level of excellence I want Embrace Flare Boutique to stand for.

And I had a choice to make.

I could continue operating the same way, or I could take a step back, reevaluate, and rebuild in a way that allows me to prioritize what matters most: quality and confidence for every piece I sell.

So I chose to restart.

Expanding to all sizes wasn’t about leaving something behind—it was about opening the door wider. It allows me to hand-pick better pieces, work with better suppliers, and create a more cohesive, elevated boutique experience overall.

At its core, Embrace Flare Boutique has never just been about size. It’s about how you feel in your clothes.

That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is my ability to bring in styles that truly meet my standards—pieces that are comfortable, wearable, flattering, and made for real life. Now, I can do that without limits.

And to my original customers—the ones who believed in this boutique from the beginning—please know this: you are still at the heart of everything I do. My commitment to offering pieces that work for real bodies, not just mannequins, is stronger than ever.

This isn’t a step away from my mission.

It’s a step forward in doing it better.

Because at the end of the day,

Clothes should work for you—not against you.
